One of the most incredible things about my training walks is getting to explore cities I already thought I knew. I have set this goal for myself of going on a training walk in each city I visit so I take the time wherever I can to do it. In a lovely turn of events, I happened to be at my cousins house right next to Hampstead Heath for my training walk in London.

I lived in London for one year when I was 18 and I never made it to this incredible park as I spent more time in the South where I lived. I’m now kicking myself and will certainly be making more visits here. What an incredible escape in the middle of a busy metropolis. So picturesque, so English and so perfect for a Sunday afternoon.

A few photos from the walk:

Grand homes and houses provided entertainment as I could learn about the history of the area as I walked.

Beautiful ponds and lakes were scattered all around.

So many dogs lapping up the sun and frolicking in the long grass.

Ducklings swimming with their Mumma duck and bringing joy to all who saw them.

I always make a collage of my training walks and this was the hardest to put together! So many amazing shots!
