Over the weekend the Chilean Latin American September Festival was held at Sandown Park, and it is one of the highlights of my foodie year. Now the reason for the festival is to celebrate the independence of not just Chile but also Mexico and El Salvador. Tt includes 44 music and dance groups totaling over 400 performers on stage over the two days, it includes rides for the kids and market stalls with goods made in the home country. Yet I walk right past them and straight to the food vans.
